Karine Eva Darrah
 
   

Karine Eva Darrah, lyric soprano, graduated from the San Francisco conservatory of music and has done graduate work at CSU Sacramento, and has a Diplome de fin d'Etudes-Conservatoire de Boulogne. She has also trained in Paris, New York and Philadelphia. Darrah enjoys singing both operatic repertoire as well a song. She has performed several solo song recitals in addition to operas. Her operatic roles include Manon in Manon, Mimi in La Boheme, Tatyana in Eugene Onegin, Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus, Wellgunde in Das Rheingold, Jasman in Wournos, Barbarina in the Marriage of Figaro, Susanna Walcott in the Crucible, and the Sandman in Hansel and Gretel. She has an extensive background in Musical Theatre and has performed both as a principle singer and a featured dancer in numeral musicals; such as Phantom of the Opera, Hello Dolly, The King and I, Babes in Arms, and The Sound of Music; in the United States, Europe, and the Far East (Singapore, Hong Kong, and Tai Pai). Among all her attributes as a performer, the young Darrah also speaks fluent French, English and Italian, conversational German and has performed in Hebrew and Russian. Ms. Darrah currently resides in Auburn, California.
